Must-Have Airplane Travel Essentials if You’re Flying Solo with Baby

airplane travel essentials for baby, baby essentials kit, baby air travel essentials

You need these airplane travel essentials for baby if you are gearing up for an adventure in the skies with your little one in tow. Flying solo with a baby can seem daunting, but with the right preparation and all the baby air travel essentials, you can breeze through your journey smoothly. Whether it’s your first time flying with your baby or you’re a seasoned traveler, having a well-stocked essentials kit can make all the difference in ensuring a comfortable and stress-free flight for both you and your little co-pilot.

Packing the Perfect Baby Essentials Kit

When it comes to traveling with a baby, being prepared is key. From soothing items to feeding necessities, here’s a comprehensive list of must-have airplane travel essentials for baby:

1. Baby Carrier

must have kitchen items, best kitchen items, kitchen items everyone needsA baby carrier can make navigating the airport and boarding the plane much easier. Baby wearing through the airport frees up your hands making traveling solo with your baby much more manageable. I baby wear Jameson every time we fly.

2. Diapers and Wipes

Pack enough diapers to last the duration of your flight plus a few extras, just in case of unexpected delays. Don’t forget to bring a pack of baby wipes for quick clean-ups and messes. Rule of thumb, pack one diaper for each hour of travel. Our favorite diapers are the Coterie diapers because they have 12-hour leak protection, 70% more liquid capacity, 4x faster absorbency, and keep skin 3x drier to minimize the likelihood of diaper rash— don’t forget to add these to your baby essentials kit! Use my code CASSIE for 20% off your first order, including subscriptions!

3. Changing Pad

Look for one that is compact, easy to clean, and provides a comfortable surface for your baby.

4. Baby Clothes and Blankets

Dress your baby in comfortable layers for the flight and pack an extra outfit in your carry-on in case of spills or accidents. A cozy blanket can also provide warmth and comfort during the flight.

5. Baby Food and Snacks

must have kitchen items, best kitchen items, kitchen items everyone needsIf your baby is eating solid foods, pack easy-to-transport snacks like cereal, teethers or if you want to bring pouches, freeze them before hand to make them through security. These snack containers make snacking on the go a lot easier.

6. Bottles and Formula or Breast Milk

For bottle-fed babies, bring pre-measured formula in containers helps making bottles that much easier. TSA has a lot of regulations, so be sure to adhere to airline regulations for carrying liquids and breastmilk on board. But they are very accommodating when carrying breastmilk in storage containers, so make sure to check the TSA website before traveling.

7. Baby Medications and First Aid Kit

A small first aid kit with essentials like band-aids and antiseptic wipes is also a good idea. I always make sure I have baby Tylenol on hand just in case. This is an important item to remember in your airplane travel essentials for baby!

8. Entertainment

Keep your baby entertained during the flight with small toys, books, or interactive apps on your smartphone or tablet. Consider bringing noise-canceling headphones to help block out any loud noises. must have kitchen items, best kitchen items, kitchen items everyone needsI love buying new toys, activity kits or coloring books for the flights so Jules has something new and exciting to look forward to and keep her entertained. I load up her backpack with these items and she can carry them on the plane herself.

9. Comfort Items for You

Don’t forget to pack some essential items for yourself, such as snacks, water, and a change of clothes in case of spills or accidents. Staying hydrated and comfortable is just as important for you as it is for your baby.

Don't Forget Your Airplane Travel Essentials for Baby!

Flying solo with a baby may seem like a daunting task, but with the right preparation and a well-stocked baby essentials kit, you can set yourself up for a smooth and enjoyable journey. By packing all the necessary items to keep your baby happy, comfortable, and entertained, you’ll be ready to tackle any challenges that may arise during your flight. Bon voyage!

So, if you’re planning your next adventure in the skies with your little one, be sure to pack these essential items in your baby essentials kit for a stress-free and enjoyable flight experience. Happy travels!

My dad was the American dream. He came to this co My dad was the American dream.

He came to this country from Egypt and built a life he could be proud of, becoming a successful business owner who owned three neighborhood bars. But to him, they were more than just bars. They were always home to familiar faces and gave people a place to go, especially on the holidays, when he would make sure everyone had a meal and a place to be.

He loved to go deep sea fishing, play video games at his bar, wear all white, put way too much sugar in his tea, smoke his Marlboro Lights, drink a Heineken, wear his 14k gold and always had wads of cash in his pockets.

But nothing put a bigger smile on his face than his grandchildren.

Losing both of my parents in six months is something I still can’t wrap my head around. It feels unimaginable. There are moments I don’t know how to process it all, or how life can possibly look the same without either of them.

But I find comfort in knowing that my dad is in heaven, and I know my mom was there to welcome him with open arms 🙏

I will miss you forever, Daddy. I love you ♥️

My beautiful mom went to heaven. She passed peacef My beautiful mom went to heaven. She passed peacefully and is no longer fighting a battle she has fought for so long.

Nothing in this world prepares you for the heartbreak of losing your mom. My mom was everything to me, and I know how incredibly lucky I have been all these years to have had her as my mother. She taught me how to work hard, to be independent, strong, and assertive.

She was a powerhouse. Tough and honest, but always fair. Her bark bigger than her bite. But let me tell you about the German stubbornness…all the way to the end. I was always so proud you were my mom. A mom who did everything, for everyone. But her favorite role was becoming Omi to my two littles.

It’s up to us to keep our loved ones’ memories alive. If you knew my mom, please comment your favorite memory of her. Some of the only laughs I’ve had recently have come from friends sharing their favorite moments with her over the years.

I promise to continue her legacy. To say her name. To teach my children what an incredible woman their Omi was and how deeply she loved them. While her proudest accomplishment was being a selfless mother to her two children, mine was being able to care for her over the last 11 years, the way she cared for me my entire life. I will forever cherish the moments we walked through the hard together.

Be free, Mom. You are out of pain now. No more suffering. Watch over us and send me the signs, I will look for you in everything we do and know you are shining down on us forever.

I love you. In Gottes Namen 🙏♥️
