Kitchen Items Everyone Needs for Perfecting Your Baking Skills

Best kitchen items (3)

Baking is one of my favorite activities so I created a list of kitchen items that everyone needs to share with you! I love baking because it’s fun to do with Jules and you get a delicious end product that your whole family can enjoy. There’s nothing better than homemade cookies or a fresh batch of brownies. But to get those perfect cookies, delicious brownies, and flaky pastries, you need the right tools. Whether you’re just starting to learn to bake or are moving into a new kitchen and need kitchen items, having the right gear and appliances makes all the difference.

Some baking tools are worth splurging on because they’ll last forever, like a high-quality stand mixer or sturdy bakeware. Others you can easily grab off Amazon without breaking the bank. Finding the right balance between investment pieces and budget-friendly essentials will make your baking experience smooth and enjoyable. Here’s my list of six must-have kitchen items everyone needs to up their baking game!

1. A Quality Set of Muffin Tins

kitchen items everyone needs (2)A good set of non-stick cake pans, muffin tins, and baking sheets is one of those kitchen items everyone needs for even baking and easy release. No more fighting to get your cookies off the tray or trying to scrape them off when you let something cook for one minute too long! I love this one from Target for $12.99.

2. A Go-To Baking Dish

A solid glass baking dish is at the top of my list of kitchen items everyone needs because you can use it for so many different things outside of baking. You can use it for making brownies or cakes or things like casseroles.kitchen items everyone needs (3)

This one from Target is $14.99 and is oven-safe, freezer and dishwasher safe! Easily one of the best kitchen items that I have purchased.

3. A Trustry Spatula

kitchen items everyone needs (4)A cheap spatula will get you by, but if you invest in a high quality one from Williams Sonoma that is All-Clad and nonstick like this one, it will last you for years and won’t start falling apart after a few washes. Once I started investing in quality baking utensils, I never looked back.

4. A Durable Stand Mixer

Best kitchen items

Sure, you can mix everything by hand, but let’s be real—a stand or hand mixer saves time and effort. From whipping cream to kneading dough, it makes baking feel effortless. It also speeds up the process and ensures all the ingredients are evenly mixed. I love this one from KitchenAid! Another best kitchen item I can’t recommend enough.

5. Measuring Cups

Best kitchen items (2)

Baking is all about precision—eyeballing just won’t cut it if you are trying to perfect the recipe. A good set of measuring cups ensures your ingredients are spot on, which means better results every time. I love this set for $19.99.

6. High-Quality Bakeware

Best kitchen items (3)

A good set of non-stick rectangular dishes from Le Creuset. They come in a set of 3 and are worth the splurge. These are my go-to bread pans. I also love this Sheet Pan from Williams Sonoma, worth the $39.95 price tag because it will last you for years to come!

With these must-have tools in your kitchen, you’ll be ready to tackle any recipe with confidence. Whether you’re whipping up a batch of brownies or perfecting a layer cake, having the right gear makes the process so much smoother—and way more fun.

My dad was the American dream. He came to this co My dad was the American dream.

He came to this country from Egypt and built a life he could be proud of, becoming a successful business owner who owned three neighborhood bars. But to him, they were more than just bars. They were always home to familiar faces and gave people a place to go, especially on the holidays, when he would make sure everyone had a meal and a place to be.

He loved to go deep sea fishing, play video games at his bar, wear all white, put way too much sugar in his tea, smoke his Marlboro Lights, drink a Heineken, wear his 14k gold and always had wads of cash in his pockets.

But nothing put a bigger smile on his face than his grandchildren.

Losing both of my parents in six months is something I still can’t wrap my head around. It feels unimaginable. There are moments I don’t know how to process it all, or how life can possibly look the same without either of them.

But I find comfort in knowing that my dad is in heaven, and I know my mom was there to welcome him with open arms 🙏

I will miss you forever, Daddy. I love you ♥️

My beautiful mom went to heaven. She passed peacef My beautiful mom went to heaven. She passed peacefully and is no longer fighting a battle she has fought for so long.

Nothing in this world prepares you for the heartbreak of losing your mom. My mom was everything to me, and I know how incredibly lucky I have been all these years to have had her as my mother. She taught me how to work hard, to be independent, strong, and assertive.

She was a powerhouse. Tough and honest, but always fair. Her bark bigger than her bite. But let me tell you about the German stubbornness…all the way to the end. I was always so proud you were my mom. A mom who did everything, for everyone. But her favorite role was becoming Omi to my two littles.

It’s up to us to keep our loved ones’ memories alive. If you knew my mom, please comment your favorite memory of her. Some of the only laughs I’ve had recently have come from friends sharing their favorite moments with her over the years.

I promise to continue her legacy. To say her name. To teach my children what an incredible woman their Omi was and how deeply she loved them. While her proudest accomplishment was being a selfless mother to her two children, mine was being able to care for her over the last 11 years, the way she cared for me my entire life. I will forever cherish the moments we walked through the hard together.

Be free, Mom. You are out of pain now. No more suffering. Watch over us and send me the signs, I will look for you in everything we do and know you are shining down on us forever.

I love you. In Gottes Namen 🙏♥️
