This healthy recipe is made with flaxseed and brewer’s yeast, both known to help in the supply of breastmilk. Ground flaxseeds used in this healthy recipe contains phytoestrogens, whoch help increase milk supply. The addition of brewer’s yeast that contains B vitamins, protein, iron, selenium and chromium, all are essential for optimal milk production in lactating women.
I love these little power bites so much that I even make them when I am not breastfeeding for a quick snack, so I always double the batch so I don’t blow through them super-fast. I usually will eat 2-4 a day, so a double batch is always the right size.
